There have been many reports of celebrities suffering from bulimia, but what we don’t know is that there is actually a high incident too of bulimic ordinary people. This new research might give some light on how talk therapy can help patients who are suffering from the eating disorder.

Eating disorders are most commonly associated with teenagers (what with the constant reminder for us to be model-thins, I doubt if you’re not somehow affected by it), but recent studies are finding out that anorexia and bulimia are becoming more and more common in middle-aged people.

“[The] Remuda Ranch Treatment Programs in Wickenburg, Ariz … had a 400 percent increase in admissions of patients 40 and older since the late 1990s,” the New York Times was quoted.
