1-Week Valentine's Day Shape Up!

Have to lose weight in less than a week? Then start with these helpful tips to get you going not only for this week, but for the next weeks and months also. You will see the difference once you start with this regime.

It is important to note that drinking alcoholic drinks contribute a lot to your calories, so just for this week, try to avoid anything alcoholic. You will see that you will feel a lot better with less alcohol in your system. Go with premium-grade vodkas, soda and fresh limes instead. And also, drink lots of water.

Second, drink at least three liters of water a day to flush away fat and stay hydrated. Coffee, soda and even diet soda increases your appetite, so better watch out for these too.

Third, eat only lean meats, fish, vegetables and fruits. Eating processed food contributes a lot to your weight gain, so stay away from them. There’s also the butter, bread and sugar to cut off!

Fourth, sleep seven to eight hours a day. Less than this time and your body would not be able to recover from the workout you need to do. It will also make you more hungry if you don’t sleep the right kind of hours.

And lastly, try to incorporate these workouts in your day: long cardio HIIT (30+ minutes) followed by circuits and 10 minutes cardio at the beginning then one-minute jump rope.

HIIT refers to 3-5 minutes of warm up, then three one-minute sprints followed by a minute recovery at your base pace. Then, do more three one-minute sprints/recover intervals.
