Health Benefits Of Kiwi Fruits

Kiwi, those brown little fruits with green flesh inside, is decidedly one of the richest sources of nutrients for our body. They are rich in vitamins, flavonoids and minerals as they contain a high amount of vitamin C (more than oranges), more potassium than bananas and also a good amount of beta carotene.

Kiwis also have an anti-oxidant properties as they contain vitamins E and A. It protects us from all kinds of diseases like cardiovascular problems, cancer and obesity. Also, kiwi fruits are helpful in the prevention of asthma, and also prevent wheezing and coughing in children. It moreover protects our DNA from mutations, provides a healthy amount of antioxidants and vitamins and helps prevent colon cancer because of its high fiber content.

It has also been proven to lower cholesterol levels, drastically improving the conditions of patients with cardiovascular diseases and lowering the probability of heart attacks.
