Interestingly enough, there are some weight loss techniques that involve the dieter binging only on junk foods like Taco Bell and sodas. There is even a soda diet where all you have to do is drink your favorite soda for breakfast, lunch and then eat a sensible dinner.

Of course, all this will enable you to shed some pounds. But the consequence is that you will lose some of your body’s most needed nutrients. Fastfood diets will only allow you to eat some 1,250 calories per day, making you lose weight faster than ever before.

But after just a week or two under this diet, you’ll notice that your energy level will…

A study has just recently found out that in 1,000 non-food retailers in the United States, around 41 percent of them sold candies, junk foods, chocolates and other salty and sweet snacks at their check-out counter. What’s troubling in this situation is that this could lead to impulse buyers gaining fat just by buying junk foods at the counter.

Published in the American Journal of Public Health, researchers said that although most people skip buying junk foods in non-food stores, those who buy something only 10 percent of the time can still add up to 2,600 extra calories a year. The study experimented with places like hardware, garden stores and auto-mechanics.
