Some health experts are always scared that saying one need to change their lifestyles will eventually scare them off and lead them towards another path. According to Post, small changes in calorie-intake have almost “no long-term effect” on weight. She said that, “When we skip a cookie or exercise a little more, the body’s biological and behavioral adaptations kick in, significantly reducing the caloric benefits of our effort.”
