
Some people just don’t realize how important is oral hygiene. So for those who are still in denial, better read up.
A research has just found out that omega 3 fatty acids, like those found in walnuts and seafoods, actually help reduce oral pathogens and mouth bacteria. In a journal called the Molecular Oral Microbiology, scientists said that omega 3 can stop the growth of nasty things like streptococcus mutans, Candida albicans and Porphyromonas ginigivalis.
In fact, even low doses of omega 3 can help, the scientists claimed.
Hopefully, in the future, there could be chewing gums and mint candies made with omega 3 fatty acids. That way, whenever there’s someone who emits…
