One of my most awaited moments during Christmas season is the time my grandmother would pull out from her oven a steaming pile of pies with cranberry toppings. And isn’t this season also which is the best peak months for cranberries?

Cranberries, with their vibrant hue and delicious tart sweetness, are best bought from October to November. They are low-growing shrubs or vines that reach a height of five to 20 centimeters and they are characterized by their thin and wiry stem, small evergreen leaves and dark pink flowers. Since Thanksgiving is fast approaching, I decided to be a little bit patriotic and post this delectable recipe on the wonderful taste of combined mushrooms and turkey breasts. At start, this recipe is just like any other ordinary dish out there. But when you reach the last step in making this, you’ll realize where that aromatic smell comes from.

Researchers believe that there’s a big connection between being obese at the age of 18 and multiple sclerosis.

According to the BBC news website, which quoted the results from the Harvard School of Public Health, “A 40-year study of 238,000 women found those who were obese at 18 had twice the risk of developing MS compared to women who were slimmer at that age.”

The research also found out that there’s a small increase in the risk of developing multiple sclerosis for those who are overweight when they were about 25 and 30 years old. The study adjusted factors like smoking and exercise levels.
